Jenna Fischer's most recognizable role is that of Pam Beesly in the highly loved television show The Office. She received two SAG Awards and an Emmy for her exceptional performance in the comedy's ensemble.
Born in Fort Wayne Indiana, she was raised living in St. Louis Missouri. Jenna observed as her mom Anne performed in church plays. The passion for performing and theater was instilled at a very teenager.
Following the conclusion of The Office, Fischer, an actress trained in theater, returned to her roots. She starred in the Off-Broadway production Reasons to Be Happy, written and directed by Neil LaBute and co-starring Josh Hamilton, Leslie Bibb, and Fred Weller. In the Old Globe Theatre's premiere, She starred opposite Greg Germann as well as Josh Stamberg in Steve Martin's absurdist comedy Meteor Shower.
In October of 2019, Fischer and The Office cast-mate and real-life best friend Angela Kinsey started a podcast called Office Ladies on the Earwolf platform. It has grown to become wildly popular, landing on the Top Ten globally every week and gaining over 200 million downloads in its first two years. In the beginning of January, 2021, Office Ladies won iHeart Radio's Podcast of the Year award.
She has written two books: The Actor's Life A Survival Guide that outlines her path to Hollywood acting as a professional and Office BFF's, Tales of The Office From Two Great Friends that Were There a memoir of the best friendship they had as well as their experience watching The Office.
