Katherine Heigl speaks to the world regarding her "white bubble childhood" and how it's influenced how she raises her multiracial adopted children. In an interview with her, Katherine Heigl said in the past that when it comes to skin color the issue isn't that important. But after speaking to her sister who is adopted by South Korea she realized just the different ways society treats them. I inquired of Meg whether, while she was out with her parents she received a certain treatment but when she was on her own, she got a completely different kind of treatment. She replied: 'Oh sure, I was treated the same way all the times! Heigl spoke to Parents about how she realized the naivety of her actions. The singer became angry at the time, and chose to make use of her anger to help her adopted daughters. Heigl has a son of 4 years with Josh Kelley, her husband over the last 13 years. They adopted Nancy Leigh from South Korea aged 12 in 2009, and then Adalaide aged 8 who is now older and was Black in 2012.
